Elita Kļaviņa is a Latvian actress and director, born on 3 November 1966. She is best known for her stage roles at the New Riga Theatre, as well as her acting roles in Defenders of Riga (2007) and Sisters (2022). As a director, she is interested in documentary cinema. Her feature debut Sisters in Longing (2022) talks about the stories that have led women to end up in prison.
